Desktop Computers
The library has 40 desktop computers on the main floor. All computers are connected to printers at the Circulation Desk.
Library Network
The three rows of computers closest to the west entrance of the library are on the Library network. These computers can be used without logging on.
In addition to providing access to business databases and the internet, these computers are equipped with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
They are all connected to a printer at the Circulation Desk. Double-sided and color printouts are not available from these computers.
Business School Network
The three rows of computers closest to the east entrance are on the Business School network. Students must log on with their UW Net ID and password.
These computers have access to the internet, business databases, Microsoft Office and other software.
They are connected to a printer at the Circulation Desk which can make single-sided, double-sided and color copies. Transparencies can also be made for $1 per sheet.
Specialized databases such as Bloomberg, Value Line and Choices III are on computers behind the Reference Desk. Each computer in this row is clearly labeled and connected to a printer at the Circulation Desk.
Laptop Computers
The Business Library has 25 laptop computers that can function either as a Mac or a PC. They can be checked out for 3 days at a time. They must be returned to the location from which they were checked out.
The due date can be found online at the UW InfoLab Laptop Checkout System. Overdue fines are $20 per day for every day or portion of a day that the laptop is overdue.

Large Screen Computers
Two computers with large screens are located near the east entrance of the library. Group study rooms on the upper level of the library are also equipped with large screen computers.
These computers are not connected to a printer.
They are intended for students working on group projects.
A key for the wireless mouse and keyboard must be checked out at the Circulation Desk.

Wirelsss Network
Wireless access to the campus network is available everywhere in Grainger Hall. A NetID and a wireless network card are required.
Printing is available from the wireless network.

- Laptops in the Business Library can only print black and white
